Dalian Discoveryland Theme Park

Dalian Discoveryland Theme Park is located in the beautiful and picturesque Golden Coast of Dalian Golden Pebble Beach National Tourist Resort.   • Cartoon Class

    Campers watch or read an age-appropriate cartoon or comic book and learn to narrate the action and describe their own reactions and opinions.This class is designed to be entertaining and fun,while giving campers the perfect platform to improve their Chinese speaking ability and build on grammar structures and vocabulary learnt during the topic class.Topics covered include going shopping,asking for directions,going to the park etc.The topics and vocabulary covered are designed to complement the afternoon activities and excursions.

  • Reading&Writing Class

    Kids will learn how to write and recognise Chinese characters.With a focus on most commonly used characters,campers will be able to read in no time.They’ll be able to recognise shop names,read a menu and write basic characters.For those who can already read and write characters,they will write stories based on what has been studied in the morning topic and cartoon classes,giving them the opportunity to use and improve their grammar knowledge.

  • Topic Chinese Class

    In this class,practising and improving speaking is the main aim.A different topic will be discussed each lesson,ranging from introductions to birthdays and everything in between.Campers will also listen to simple Chinese songs and dialogues to practice listening skills.Topic Classes focus on real-life Chinese,increasing vocabulary knowledge,improving pronunciation and listening skills,and developing spoken fluency in Chinese.

Homestay

Become fully immersed in the Chinese language and culture experience by staying with one of our host families located within a 20-30 minute commute of campus.

Host families have all been appraised by Smile Chinese and have been working with us for many years.They are all experienced with looking after children,most having brought up their own;so you can rest happy in the knowledge that your child is well looked after.The majority of our hosts are able to speak some English,but Mandarin is encouraged.

Home-stays comprise a private bedroom within a host’s apartment/house. There is air provide traditional, healthy Chinese meals.

Our serviced hotel accommodation is located in downtown DaLian with easy access to public transport.

Around the complex are shops,restaurants and all the services you may need such as a post-office and supermarket.The accommodation is in a convenient location,not only for getting to campus every day,but also for going out and about to see the sights and what the city has to offer.

All rooms come with air conditioning/heating,WIFI,satellite television,24 hour hot water etc.Towels and bed linen are provided.
